Oahu Ke Aloha

Oahu is my favorite island on the planet. In the Hawaiian language it means: "the gathering place." It is the one place on earth where I can resource and reconnect with nature and with myself.
Truly a beloved place ๐ŸŒˆ

I would like to share what inspired me in nature during my last trip there, and bring some of the Hawaiian style into interior decorating.
Nature is an integral part of everyday life on Oahu - people spend lots of time outdoors, and the leaves and flowers find their way onto prints and furniture design.

Koa wood has famously been used in Hawaii as it used to grow abundantly on all the islands.
'Koa' means 'warrior'. The first surf boards were made of koa, as well as all the canoes.
